New Look Music Scotland TV Coming Soon

Firstly we would like to thank everyone for the amazing support to our test launch of MUSIC SCOTLAND TV last year especially from the dance and rave community.

The site is now offline while we design a brand new site for 2009 and will be back online March 2009 with the exclusive first showings of the December Judgement Day from the Ice Factory in Perth and Sector's Nosebleed Reunion at Visions in Rosyth with the legendary Lenny Dee.

Unfortunately the response from the live music industry in Scotland was not as strong as hoped. Over recent years Scotland has been renowned for having one of the best live music scenes in the world but it seems slow picking up on the power of online video marketing.

For this reason the new MUSIC SCOTLAND TV will be aimed more at the huge online dance and rave communities who made up most of the viewers during our test launch last year.

However, due to the huge response from live music artists around the world to HOT ROCK TV we will be integrating HOT ROCK TV into the new MUSIC SCOTLAND TV site to bring you the best in live music from around the world.

The new site will also have new players that are capable of high quality video playback including HD so if you have a video you would like included on the playlist or had a video on the old playlist but we do not have the original file please get in touch.

We are looking for your highest quality version of the video ideally in a .avi .wmv or .mov format .

Certain Death - The Making of The EP

Now showing on Music Scotland TV is a short film from Kirkcaldy metal band Certain Death on the recording of their debut EP coming out soon on Wasted State Records. You can find the film on the Documentaries page.

Judgement Day Returns to Scotland

Yes Scotland has went raving mad yet again and Friday 5th September 2008 saw the legendary Judgement Day return to Scotland at the Ice Factory in Perth and Music Scotland TV were there to catch all the action.

Right from the off the place was jumping and by the time Neurotek hit the stage with their first Scottish performance in 10 years it was total mayhem.

Highlights from the event including interviews with such legends as Stu Allan, Technotrance and DJ Ruffneck are now showing on our Dance Music page.

Club Houch Festival Special

Music Scotland TV would like to give a big thanks to all involved at Club Houch for an amazing night at their August Edinburgh Festival Special at Faith Nightclub. It was great to see a packed club totally up for the all night party.

Highlights from the night including interviews from all the clubs involved will be on the site sometime in September and we look forward to returning to another Club Houch event in the future.
